SDF MISSION

The Somali Development Foundation (SDF) is a non-profit organization established in 2005 with a vision to provide both primary and post-secondary education to the people of Somalia. The mission is to produce an educated, productive and competitive new generations of Somali youth so as to promote economic development, political stability and social equality

SDF OBJECTIVE

Our main objective is to find and solicit capital and financial resources to support social services, school facilities and teaching equipments, and rural development as well as other economic development projects SDF also have the follwing objectives:

• To engage Somali Diaspora to participate in the reconciliation, rebuilding and development of Somalia
• To help repatriate academic professionals or qualified teachers in the Somali Diaspora
• To establish a centralized, standardized and quality curriculum in Somali education system
• To increase accessibility and encourage girls participation in both basic and post-secondary education
• To promote gender and social equality.
